Sigh of Relief
I didn't sleep well last night. I tossed and turned, wide awake from about 2:30 - 4:00. See, I'm a worry wart by nature, but this pregnancy thing has increased that trait about tenfold. I'm constantly worried about the baby, that something will be wrong, that it won't make it through this first trimester alright. I had to wait a whole month before going to the OB again for another ultra sound and I was scheduled to do so this morning at 8:00.Well?
I can't call him/her Snail anymore! It looks like an actual human baby now - complete with head, arms, legs, and a great big Buddah belly! Best part? He/she danced around for us - seriously. It was awesome. Heart beat is a strong 167 beats per minute. My OB said we're pretty much out of the woods now and that things look great. The due date remains Halloween. :)
Big sigh of relief.
